Mock Site Survey

Due to the large number of flight reviews occurring in uncontrolled airspace and away from complex flight environments Transport Canada require the PIC to also provide a “mock site survey” for a more complicated flight mission. This procedure is necessary in order for the PIC to fully demonstrate their understanding and ability of planning such missions in complex environments.

This mock site survey is a requirement as part of the flight review and needs to be completed and brought to the actual flight review for further discussion. If you are completing your flight review with one of our affiliated reviewers then the below Mock site survey needs to be completed. If you are undertaking a flight review with another reviewer then please check with them on their specific requirements.
