Welcome to this bespoke Drone Industrial Applications Training Program, purposely built for Veterans by Veterans and Industry Experts and hosted jointly through UAVertical Ltd & Veteran Elite Drone Training Services.

This 240hr Training Program has been professionally developed around years of knowledge gained within the UAV industry within multiple sectors including

Aim

The Drone Industrial Applications Training Program is designed to provide drone pilots with the advanced drone operator knowledge, skills and tools to work in the Drone Industry thereby providing Graduates to move to the front line of employment opportunities in the fastest growing work sector in Canada.

Prerequisites

Candidates interested in registering for this Training Program must have

  • High school diploma or older than 19 years of age 
  • A valid and current Transport Canada Advanced Drone Pilot Certificate 
  • A minimum of 20hrs of drone flight time and
  • Successfully completed the online ground school final exam with 80% or more passing grade before attending the in person portion of the course.

  • Fixed Wing Drone Operations
  • Thermography
  • Mission Planning
  • Drone Business Specifics and Business Planning
  • Satellite Navigation Theory
  • RTK & PPK processes
  • BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight)
  • Internal Inspections
  • Introduction to DJI M30T
  • Introduction to DJI M350RTK

The end of each module is followed by a short quiz to test your knowledge on the material covered.

A final exam will follow at the end of the entire Training Program

An “Operational Pilot Certificate” will be issued upon completion of the Training Program and achieving at least 80% for the final exam.

  • Red Deer 12~16 July 2025
  • Winnipeg 21~25 July 2025
  • Ottawa 11~15 August 2025
  • Halifax 15~19 September 2025
