DJI Matrice 3TD

The DJI Matrice 3TD is DJI’s dedicated thermal-enabled enterprise drone platform engineered specifically for fully autonomous operations using DJI Dock 2. It is designed to support continuous remote missions with minimal human intervention, making it ideal for security surveillance, infrastructure inspection, mapping, energy sector monitoring, and emergency response workflows.

The Matrice 3TD combines a multi-sensor payload that includes a wide-angle camera for situational awareness, a telephoto camera for long-range inspection, and an integrated thermal imaging camera for detecting heat signatures and anomalies in low-light or no-light environments. This fusion of visual and thermal data enables operators to conduct detailed inspections, identify critical issues, and improve decision-making in real time across complex environments.

When paired with DJI Dock 2, the Matrice 3TD can execute fully automated workflows including takeoff, landing, charging, mission execution, and data upload, all managed through DJI FlightHub 2 cloud-based operations. This enables scalable drone-in-a-box deployments for organizations requiring persistent aerial coverage and repeatable mission scheduling.

Built for enterprise reliability, the platform includes RTK positioning support for centimeter-level accuracy and obstacle sensing for safer autonomous flight in challenging environments. Its rugged design ensures stable operation in varying weather conditions, making it suitable for continuous outdoor deployment in industrial and public safety applications.

The SP service plans define the level of DJI Care Enterprise coverage included with the system. The SP plan provides standard accidental damage protection and repair coverage. The SP 2Y plan extends protection to two years for long-term operational security. The SP Plus plan offers the highest tier of coverage, typically including enhanced repair services, faster turnaround times, and expanded protection for mission-critical fleets with high utilization.

This configuration is delivered as a drone-only system, meaning no battery or remote controller is included. The RC and charging kit are optional accessories that can be added depending on whether the system is used strictly in Dock 2 autonomous mode or in hybrid/manual operational setups. This modular structure allows organizations to scale deployments efficiently based on operational requirements.
